Dear Anne,

Thank you for your post. You mentioned the p/w disappears -- does the form submit to VoyForums at all, or does the page stay still? I'm guessing the first form is submitted properly, then VoyForums gives you the password page again.

VoyForums pops up that password page if it doesn't get a cookie from your browser. This cookie shows VoyForums that you logged in already and is needed so you can freely navigate a forum without entering a password over and over.

This is probably happening because your browser isn't returning the cookie we send it, perhaps because cookies are disabled in your browser or because a bug in your browser. I don't believe there's a bug in VoyForums that can be causing this, and have checked the forum myself and it works fine for me.

Have you insured cookies are enabled in your browser? In our FAQ there's a question/answer on cookies, and how to enable them in your browser.
