There's not much you can do. Your trick of putting in some closing tags is clever, but won't always work because tags aren't allowed to overlap and browsers will handle this differently (that aside from other complications). For instance, a user doing B I (text), then you closing with /B /I will not necessarily work because it really should be /I /B.

Anyhow, it looks like you may want to try putting those tags in Text Area #3 End (and possibly #2 End) to catch the mistakes right at the end of the table area containing the messages.

However, one of the best thing you can do is inform your users -- perhaps you will help someone learn. :)
