Christians in general consider your 'lifestyle' to be abhorrent, and feel they dont need to, nor should they tolerate it. Its like a murderer saying his is a perfectly legitimate activity for a friday night--- most people just won't buy it. Simmilarly, many christian people feel that your lifestyle is sinful and wrong, and just dont buy into it being considered normal nor acceptable.

As for schools; Because of the views held above, most christians feel the need to segregate their children from such influences until they are mature enough to understand them with an adult eye. That is to say, homosexuals are treated in the same vein as say-- prostitutes, pimps, and people who fuck animals. It isnt to say that such people dont exist--- They just dont want their children around them.

Now. for the moral delema that many homosexuals have towards christians, and the misconceptions many hold--

The bible says very little about being a totally forgiving doormat. Not even GOD is like that! So, what does it describe then?

More like this:
A woman is a prostitute to feed her children (Common)--- Does simply being a prostitute (A sin) make the woman evil? Jesus said that a person can have no greater love, than to give his/her life for another; Metaphorically, the prostitute is trading her social status and chances at a normal life, for a chance for each of her children; She is trading 'her life' for that of her children. In some respects, it would seem she loves them very much to do this dangerous and unpleasant work. So, is the prostitute unpardonably evil? Jesus apparently didnt think so, because he interceded for mary magdeline (though she was a whore in order to survive; EG-- she was poor.).

But forgiveness for a sin, is based on one's will and desire to stop committing the sin. Should the woman with the starving children suddenly land a decent job, God would expect that woman to stop selling her cunt to every man with a stiffy. This is a feature called "Repentance." For people that are repentant, there is nearly endless forgiveness written in the bible.

Conversely, Should she continue being a prostitute 'because she likes it', There is no grounds to offer any sort of deliverance or forgiveness in the bible; Quite the contrary in fact-- It is grounds for extreme condemnation!

Why is this you may ask---

The reason is all about desire, and the hidden message the fullfillment of those desires have. Being a prostitute out of love for children screams a message of love. Being a prostitute because you like having every oraphice crammed with dick every night screams that you are a fucking slut-- God said that there will be no committers of sexual sin, murderers, liars, or theives in heaven. That is his place to judge, but as far as I can determine, this desire element is the crucial ingredient. Only you and God know what is in the heart, so only you and God are able to judge righteously; But it further illucidates on this, with "By their fruits, you shall know them". Basically, If it looks like they are getting off on their sinfulness, odds are likely that they indeed are, and you can assume their social merit by such indicators.

The same philosophy applies to homosexuality; If you get put in a prison cell with a 250lb oversexed gay guy everyone calls 'tiny', and get violently ass fucked all night, EVERY night against your will; Odds are that you are going to be very repentant of this; You arent gonna go rush out and find tiny when you both get released. The bible states that homosexuality is "an abomination to God", so you can safely draw the line that he doesnt think too highly of it; but since you didnt have much choice in the matter, and because it wasnt set in your heart to have homosexual sex in the first place, such acts are forgivable.

Conversely, for the man that perfers anal sex over sex with women (Both ways this can be interpereted); God finds this abominable. Telling christians that they "HAVE" to accept this, and that God should accept them that way too, goes against a great deal of biblical doctrine. Not only does this person basically tell the christian that their religion demands them to love the sin, it also demands that God do so as well; Stating through action "God is wrong, and we are right, and we wont change". Far be it from me to say, but I would seriously suspect that God doesnt think very highly of that. (Look at the numberous instances of "Potter and the Clay" parables for God's feelings on such matters.)

Being a lump of unrepentant clay that staunchly refuses to assume the form that the potter intends is a good way to get thrown out of the pottery shop.

That's something that many homosexuals should consider with more than just passing interest.
