Thankfully, I never experienced anything like this.
When I got hit,
I found myself hanging upside-down by my seatbelt
with no recollection of the time
from impact to where I was.
I don’t know if it is some sort of protection mechanism devised by the mind
or if I was actually knocked unconscious for a few minutes.
