sells fake eyebrows
stuck to babies
by women painted with plastic faces
frowning through their smiles
and people post their privacy to the interet
and beg the television to tell them
a secret only they can understand
and nothing is sacred, when the earth
is a whore praying for a decent paycheck
while being raped of her dignity
by an unending infestation of assholes
who post signs to her bosom
that say "for sale by owner"
but you can't sell anything holy
and you can't buy anything holy, but
rotting minks drip from the fur coats
of the embalmed souls of rich women
who pretend to be pretty as perfume
but scream of the dark death that
constantly closes in around the truth
shivering back into corners of the abyss
