The pomegranate is an ancient fruit known for its medicinal/cleansing qualities. I am speaking about the financial crisis and mankind's corrupt nature being brought to justice. I allude to Caesar's death-because it occurred at the hands of Brutus and his co-conspiring assassins for their own political and financial gain. This alludes to mankind's selfish and evil nature-where it sacrifices others for its own benefit. I speak of the innocent blood-which refers to Christ being murdered-because he was also a victim of mankind's corrupt nature. Caesar was the physical king of the Roman empire while Jesus was a spiritual spiritual king and threat to the Roman empire and they were both killed at the hands of mankind's self-serving nature which ties them together in unity despite their diffrent intentions and life paths. I allude to the past to address the vein of evil that has been the common thread of mankind for generation upon generation. The financial crisis is also happening because of a lack of morality and truthfulness on a global scale. I used the pomegranate to decribe a metaphysical cleansing taking place hence referring to the "ethers" which is the reality or energy behind the manifested physical reality-that is occuring in the consciousness of mankind-by making them accountable for their transgressions. The infiltration of the sepulchre or (coffin) of Brutus-is a metaphor for the infiltration of light and truth into the true nature of mankind-being that of a lack of goodness which is described by myself as "dead". I believe a man with no conscience is dead in his soul-and I believe that an awakening is occurring that will hopefully bring about a change of heart in mankind which I describe in my peom as "a new blush in the Rose of Sharon"-some assume in ancient texts that the Rose of Sharon is the pomegranate but no one is certain. I believe it to be so though. It quenches the thirst of God-because bringing mankind into a state of truth or love-brings it into closer proximity with the higher energy of spirit, God, or love or whatever you prefer to call it. I hope this makes you understand a little more-it is very complex and it is hard to completely explain it-that is why I write poetry-it helps to paint a picture for concepts that are hard to communicate to people:)
