Hi Everybody,
I'm hoping that someone may be able to help out with some advice.

I might be jumping the gun a bit,but I've got a pair of red rumps sitting on a clutch at the moment (4 eggs) and my daughter has asked if she could hand raise a couple. My experience has been that these little guys are normally a bit agro so I've kept them in avairies by themselves or with bigger birds. Has anybody succeeded in hand raising any of these guys and, if so, did they stay 'docile' or get a bit nippy like rosellas do ?? I don't want my daughter to go through the job of hand-raising one and then find that they're not going to play the game for her and have to put them back into the aviary

Any advice welcome

Viraba
