Normal Green cheeks only arrived here about 14 yrs ago and the cinnamon mutation was developed in europe not long ago so I sincerly doubt there were any cinnamon greencheeks here 10 yrs ago more like the first were within the 5yr-6yr bracket and the pineaples have definately not been here for 10 yrs once again it is not an old mutation.
The book you are referring to (Hoser)was written in the 80's
and the reason why it was banned from publication was more to do with concern about unsubstantiated accusationns against individuals, it also focused more on herbatology. basically most of that is not relevent to todays smuggling.
I agree they will never stop smuggling, but scraping the exotic licence made it a dam site more prominant and a lot more lucrative.
