Hello,
I have been breeding quakers fro some time now and I have noticed that yes, it is normal behaviour what you are experiancing and she is mearly protecting the young. I have also experianced that when handraising these liitle fellas they tend to do the head bobing and wing spaning also. I have a web site www.bma.2ya.com here you will find information on how I breed Quakers
Cheers
David
