Subject: KIA - Killya In Accident

I wish I would have found web sites like this 4 yrs. ago. 1998 KIA Sephia LS Purchased new in Sept.1998 not even2 mths later brakes, drums & rotors were shot, about 6-7 months later again, better brakes not factory & drums & rotors were put on. Well the last time, keep in mind this is about every 6-7 months brake problems, this car had brake failure yet again & my sister & myself were run over(the whole front of the car) by an 18 wheeler. I was very blessed & lucky had alot of broken bones. My sister still sits to this day in a wheelchair. She can not walk can not talk, & has severe tramatic brain injury. Not only did the brakes go out, the seat beat came undone(eventually they did a recall) & airbag did not deploy on impact. She is truly a blessing & a miracle to even be here. The cars & vehicles KIA are making now are alot better, not as many problems. They quit making the Sephia in 2000. How many lives were lost & people crippled for life because they have still to this day not done a recall on braking system. If you have a sephia no matter what year please have it checked before you take your family on a road trip. It could save your life.
