Subject: Kia Sedona 2002-Loud tire noise?

My Sedona just hit 66,000 miles and it seems like everything is happening around 60,000 mi. My van died right on the road and it was the alternator with no alert. Had to have it towed in and they told me since it was over the warranty (just a few miles) Kia would pay half of the alternator which was quoted at $700. I had to pay $450.
They told me also that the TIMING BELT needed to be replaced or whatever they do to it and said it would be $1,000 for that!! I declined on that!!
Now at 66,000 I have started getting everytime I drive a loud noise that sounds like it's rough tires once I hit 40-45 mph. It shakes or vibrates a little.
Had my tires rotated where I got my new tires (Michelin) and I still have this loud noise.
Maybe it's not the TIRES...?? Anyone have anything similar like this and I am not sure what to do. I guess I'll have to have it in at Kia to see what is wrong, but I have a feeling they are going to tell me the TIMING BELT.

I have basically loved this Kia up until several things have had to be fixed after 50,000 mi. I do love the way this van drives on the highway. We have driven to Florida from Indiana several times and it is the best driving vehicle to travel in.
My windshield wipers have now quit shutting all the way off, they stop half way. Had to have my electric driver seat replaced when it quit working once and the electric windows fixed.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions on this problem!!
