Subject: love my car but HATE KIA

I bought my car in May with 34,000 miles on it. I bought it from a dealer who got it from a rental agency so there was no maintenance records on it. My car is now at 41,000 miles and my transmission blew yesterday. Kia is trying to say that it appears as though the previous owner didn't flush the transmission at 30,000 miles like they say the manual says so they won't honor the warranty. Now in my manual under "normal maintenance", which is what my car would be under, the transmision fluid only has to be inspected at 30,000 miles not flushed. When I told them it wasn't my fault the previous owner didn't do this they said, "well it isn't kia's either". Finally after fighting with kia for several hours they agreed to pay for parts but not labor. Now I just graduated college and don't have a well paying job so I can't afford the $450 labor charge I am going to have to pay.
