Subject: Macs can't display the tree

I can understand that a Mac can't run your compiler. But shouldn't a Mac (OS ver. 9.xx) be able to use the tree-aplet?

Several Mac-users (including my own Mac on the job) can't see the little green tree on my website and can't display the tree.

From Suns website I can see, that there is no way to upgrade Java on Macs with OS' older than ver. X.

Is this a known problem or is it just a coincidence?
