This year, Synopsys test specialists have been rolling out new test solutions to address the industry's toughest SOC test challenges. As a test specialist, you will have the opportunity to become an expert in these products and learn the latest test methodologies as you engage directly with both established customers and numerous startups. Specialists align with Sales to exceed quota; they also provide technical support to ensure customer success and satisfaction. Sales support roles include product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking. Customer support roles include technical problem resolution, training and account management. Specialists are expected to participate in account planning, where they work as part of the account team to develop the Synopsys solution to customer problems by bringing their technical understanding of customers needs and issues. They must be able to interact effectively with end-users at customer sites, as well as first level managers. You will help shape leading edge EDA tools by working with the Synopsys product teams to develop products that will address customer needs.

Requirements: Design experience should include ASIC design using industry-standard hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL). Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills are mandatory. Strong interest and understanding of design methodologies is required. Deep Synopsys tool experience is desired, but not required. Customer sensitivity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities, and the desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential for success in the position. Education: BSEE or equivalent, required with 9+ years of experience, or MSEE, or equivalent with 7+ years of experience
