It seems like it was only a few months ago and not a whole year. When I first found out something was terribly wrong, I was driving home after dropping my daughter off at school. All the radio stations in my city stopped playing music and started covering what they were seeing on CNN and other news stations. The first plane had hit one of the towers and I rushed home to turn on the TV. About 10 minutes after I returned home I saw the second plane crash into the second tower. I couldn't believe that an obvious attack was going on. The other disasters were later reported and everyone was heartsick and in complete shock. No one could imagine anything remotely like that happening. The horror of the images that were seen can never be erased from any ones mind. I wish that everyone can be as close and united as most of the world seemed right after the terrorist attacks. Sometimes we all fight over the most trivial things and we need to just take a little time and reflect on what's really important in life. The people that risked and gave their lives to save other reflect the real human spirit of kindness. The posters on this board are the sweetest and kindest posters I have experienced and I am blessed to have all of you as posters. Shannen I would like to thank you and all my other friends here for being a ray of sunshine. Reflecting on that day makes me feel a little emotional so I want give all of you an embrace and I pray that life is kind and good for you all.
