I don't think that you can fit a 1-1/4" foot valve in a 2" pipe. Were you planing on PVC or poly pipe? Have you considered a hand pump? In some locations 4 feet of water may work. in others it may not. The cost to try things with a hand pump is much less and for the amount of water you need it would be much simpler. An issue would be that it might need to be in the pit because of the depth to water. You don't need more than a 1/2 hp pump.
