Ask yourself this: if the pump is too powerful, then why does it work fine on the legs with fewer rotaries? Does that make sense to you? Try what Fred said and cap a couple of them and see if things don't improve.

BTW, from what I have heard, Flotech is a downgraded Sta-rite pump. I seriously doubt that it is "too" powerful.

Did you call Brady products yet? The fellow talked to there was very nice.
