No I am really confused.

I talked with the tech support guy at Brady. He said that I must have one 4' well point per 1/4 HP pump. And since I have a 1 1/2 hp pump I need 6 wellpoints!

I pushed him on this issue but he insists. He also said that this is probably the reason it is taking so long to prime. He says that my wells are sucking too hard and are getting fine sand in them and then the sand builds up inside the point at the bottom causing the point to produce less.

But I am still skeptical because these wells have pumped very very clean almost from the beginning they produce no sand whatsoever. Even when I initially pumped them with the 5hp rental pump there was very little sand.

I am going to try Fred's suggestion about capping some of the heads as soon as I get a moment to go outside and try it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Jerry
