No, this is NOT a trick question. I am learning as I go.

I read on the Brady web site that you could go down with your 2" pipe 30 - 35 ft or until it stopped washing down. The 2" pipe has stopped washing. I measured the depth of the 2" pipe and the static water level when it stopped washing. The reason why I wanted to go as deep as possible is that I hope to have a better chance of hitting water. I just assumed this to be the case.

I would like to run 4 sprinkler heads per zone. I have not looked on the amount of water they will take to run. I would guess that I would need to have 12-14 gallons per minute.

I tried taking a water hose and turn it on full blast and it will take about 30 seconds to overflow. It will drain out down pretty fast. The 2" pipe is sitting in the hole where I stopped washing when I timed the flow.

I have thought about taking a mud pump and connect a black water line to the mud pump and let it pump as much sand as possible to make a reservoir for water to drain into.
