This is what I was trying to exlain in my first post. You *will* have trouble getting the water to keep coming up. To keep it coming up I use short, maybe 2 or 3 foot pieces of 3/4" pipe with a male and female on each end. This gives me more flexibility.

Sometimes the 3/4" has to go a foot or more below the 2" pipe. Sometimes it has to be a foot or more above the bottom of the 2' pipe. It takes a lot of patience. Moving the 3/4" pipe down six inches, then waiting to fill the pipe all the way up and out can take a while. The water level can move up slowly. So you try a place, wait a while maybe a minute or so (and listen), then if nothing try another place.

Eventually you will find the right spot and once you do, try not to lose the water. If you move it up or down, and the water stops flowing out the top, quickly undo what you did. If you take a break, make sure it's a short one and don't turn the water off.
