In reply to: Tom 's message, "Well Problems" on 19:35:58 04/25/08 Fri

So I got the Check valve off, and here is what I found.

Well Depth 30'-0"
Water level In well 8'-4"
Well has a metal bottom? (I could feel the weight hit the bottom of the well)

The check valve seems fine. The spring in intact, and it holds water fine. When I cut the pipe open there was plenty of water in it.

When I put my hose in the well, the Well overflows, It cannot handle a single hose in the well. Is this good or bad. When I pull the hose out, it drops right back down to the same level, pretty quickly (Within 5 seconds.)

I am now lost, and don't know what to do. Any help from everyone will be greatly appreciated.
