This is Harry back again. The water level is at around 18-19' even though the well point is deeper than that. The water pressure down there fills the pipe to the 18-19 foot level.
I am a little confused about the response saying the check valve is in the wrong location. I don't understand why it would make a difference where the check valve is located. It's function is the same wherever it is in the system. Isn't it?
