 sorry to be long winded...but also....under very little use the pump kicks on every 10 to 20 minutes..and runs 15 to 25 seconds.i dont think thats short cycling?? if i stand at the bibcock out side the house and turn the hose on it has awesome pressure until the tank empties then its a noticeable drop until the pump cycles up...anyhow hope this helps.
