They are tablets that form an acid when they dissolve in the standing water in a well. A Google search yielded negative results. However, I'm almost certain someone still manufactures the tablets (perhaps under a different name). You can do the same thing for less money by turning off the pump at the circuit breaker and pouring a gallon of swimming pool acid into the water standing in the well. Be careful not to get any of it on you, the casing, or the well. Let the acid work overnight, turn on the pump the next morning, and turn on a spigot full blast for an hour. Be aware that this is a last resort measure (kill or cure) and you run the risk of weakening or putting a hole in your wellscreen. I suggest you try surging the well with high pressure water or compressed air prior to resorting to using swimming pool acid.
