Subject: periodic brown water after heavy rain

 I have a drilled well 150 ft. deep. It is pipe cased 80feet. When we have a heavy rain within hours our water turns a murky brown. It stains the stools. Also the water is anything but inviting to drink. The water normally clears up within 24 hours. Could this be a problem at well head? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
