Eclectus parrots are pretty birds and intelligent as well. They can repeat many words and phrases and can also sing songs and talk to both their human and bird companions. The female will talk up a storm as soon as she hears my Mom’s voice; she also likes her belly rubbed if she’s on the wall of the cage. The male will follow you around his cage when you are cleaning to see what you are doing. He likes to be sitting on your hand or shoulder. The females pluck the male to line the nesting box. They like to be included in the everyday family life. So a good places for them would be were ever the family spends most of their time.
