My grandfather, Horace A. Matchner, believed that he was the end of that family's line. He had three daughters, no sons. Was born in Norristown PA, lived in a lot of places before ending up in Detroit MI. I put together a bit of information about his family, will have to look for it, but will be pleased to share it with you. I would enjoy seeing what you have found about the Matchners.
