In the eight months we have been with UMass I have experienced numerous payroll issues but until recently have always been able to rectify them to my satisfaction until the past six weeks. These issues include failure to accrue comp comp time,inaccuracies in shift differential, failure to receive holiday pay, namely time and a half for July 4th, and failure to receive promised bonus dollars for designated shifts. I know I am not alone at my site. I'm wondering my site administration's response of "There are other sites worse off than us. Site X is ready to strike over their payroll issues." is accurate. Please let me know via post or email your payroll issues and resolutions. Strike or class action, whichever way you go, be assured, sisters at my site are with you all the way.
