Subject: Siberian Husky needs help!

I adopted a year old Siberian Husky and last week I found out she has congenital cataracts. If not operated she will go blind and it's something I really don't want to happen.The estimated cost for cataracts removal from both eyes is $2,000. I have been informed that there are organizations or people that will sometimes give financial assistance. I really don't know how to go about this but if anyone could help me or direct me to someone who can, I would really appreciate any type of information. Thank you for your time.
