Subject: There's a certain red alga called "Hijiki" that contains vitamin B-12 and is the best source of calcium. It contains much more calcium and Iron than any cow milk. Iron is also found in many vegetable sources, im not sure if it's found in broccoli I know that it's found in leaves like spinach but needs to be taken with a vitamin C source (e.g lemon juice) to be adequately absorbed.

Anyways though I am vegan, I don't pay much attention to these balances coz currently, I consume soy milk that is fortified with iron and vit b12, also Kellogs cornflake (i don't personally like the cornflakes but that's what is available most of the time). I know it's ironic but i hope i will not be consuming fortified food soon. I prepare food with "hijiki" in it from time to time.... and believe me if i planned the time to buy all the required food items and cook, i wouldn't be consuming soy milk and cornflakes at the breakfast.
