Yeah, I remember Glanda. Glanda Yammer. Chick was nutty. Like crazy. But built to last, ya know? Solid. Joey Bishop had a thing for her but that's another story. I didn't fire her. Hell, what do I care about watered down Scotch when I got a storage tank of the stuff back in the green room? I liked her style. She had class. She was a little controlling, though. Charles Nelson Reilly was my most frequent guest star and they didn't hit it off. She said something about his Bic Banana. Charley was sensitive. Did those commercials to pay off some blackmail. Ain't that a kick in the head. Anyway he had her fired, not me. Years later, I brought Glanda back for a roast. Ruth Buzzi was in her "Gladys" outfit and beat Glanda with her purse. Foster Brookes came on as her limo driver. Then I blacked out when Joey Heatherton showed up. Man! Someone freshen up this highball?
