All aiki systems have jujutsu lineage, because aiki is based on solid foundation of jujutsu. Do all aiki systems stem from Daito, scholars are divided. I would say some sort of lineage is in order, but some people make up stuff, or are soley jujutsu based, put on a hakama, and call themselves aiki-jujutsu.

aikido is a direct decendant from Daito, no question...
