Let me just stop myself before I go on another "real gamers don't exist" rampage and say this:

Most people don't want "substance." They don't want control, nor gameplay...they want PRETTY GRAPHICS. And as far as game developers go, I understand that they've gotta feed the kids at home n' all but...it's no good when you design games for the SOLE purpose of making a buck.

Xenosaga was developed by, and belongs to NAMCO now, and THAT'S why you saw a difference in story/gameplay.

(Eh, FFVII: Advent Children doesn't count as a game, but I swear, if Square screws this one up heads will ROLL.)

Now.

If you wanna see SquareEnix at its best, go play Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Now. I COMMAND you.

But as semi-excited as I WAS about Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core, somehow I still fear the possibility that they might, well...SUCK.

Anyways. I hear you NKS. I hear you.
