I agree Jeff and adopting organized rules would accomplish that. But in the defense of area karting I want to add that several strides have been made in the last two years. Just two years ago there we NO blueprinted engines at all. The BP engine is the basic standard for all engine rules and those two years ago we either had "boxstock" or "open" engines (for kids) with nothing in between and no two tracks had the same weight rules. since then we seen most of the "yardkarts" gone and blueprinted engines now used. Last year there were no plates in these classes. This year all three tracks in the Muskogee area Outlaw, Coody Creek and SSJS have restrictor classes for their Jr1 or beginner all based on KART rules including weights. So really its come a long way in the last year. AND I want to add there is not any one track doing it better than the others. NONE of the tracks enforce a body rule or a chassis rule. Adopting just partial rules is not enough. It needs to be done completely. Its not going to change overnight. Maybe we'll see additional changes adopted for next season. One can only hope :)
