No, that was long before you took over the track.

As far as EW being too fast for the kids, that's the reason for restrictors. Restrictors limit rpm, reduce speeds, require driver smoothness, and in most cases let the engine live longer. It also puts a premium on kart setup, and learning how to setup the vehicle.
Kids, and even adults, that learn to go fast with a limited amount of power typically are able to use increased power more to their advantage later on.
Ask Bobby what I did to him when he was running his first year at 2Bros.
