This was a parliamentary question to the Minister for Education by Dáil Deputy Tomás O Deirg.The following is a translation - but not a word for word one.
"Tomás O Deirg inquired of the Minister for Education if he would say how many Primary Schools needed to be rebuilt or improved in each county and county-borough."
Risteard Ua Maolchatha replies: "The Deputy will understand that it is very difficult to estimate how many (schools) need to be replaced because the urgency of each case is different." (Siochas in this case means !compared one to
the other). He then rattles on in the usual political drivel.
