I suspect you mean féin instead of fien. It is Irish for self and is pronounced Hayn by many persons in the Donegal Gaeltach where Ulster is spoken. They seem to do this with more than one word. I've heard A hara for a chara. Otherwise the usual pronunciation is fayn.
