Hi Mom and Dad,

I just wanted to tell you I got to Simmington Hills safely.

I got to ride in another helicopter. It reminded me so much of our family trip, remember?

I'm enjoying Mayor Cunningham so far. He's really nice and laid back. He complemented me on my pearls; said he doesn't see enough young ladies looking like young ladies anymore. That made me smile.

I met Gen. Bruce Peterson, too. He used to live in Apple Valley, and his brother still does. I wish I had more time to speak to him, but he was so excited that Mayor Cunningham came to visit, he hardly noticed me.
