Chrissy,
When i do a fill i always remove the builder finish an 90% of the colour with an electric file then i go and use the hand file to remove the rest of the bulk of the product and blend in the old layer into thew natural nail and then take the shine off of the new growth, then with a cotton applicator apply the nail cleanz and then the protien primer over the whole nail including the old layer of product.
