Sorry its has taken so long for me to get back to this to answer your question, computers were on the blink and then with the holidays and all but to answer your question, I havent experienced any problems and the reason is that the protien primer bonds like a magnet to the protien and oxygen molecules that are in the nails and then the base gel is bonded to the protien primer. Just be sure to remove the shine from the nails before finishing up the rest of the application process.
