There is withdrawal from bubrenorphine but it is so much less severe. If you do it under a physician's care and little by little you won't suffer. I know NA is a proponent of abstinance, but that just isn't always the best way for everyone. There are many ways to stay off illegal drugs and whatever works for you is OK. There just isn't one method that fits all personalities.
