Hello all! My name is Shana, Im 18 years old. My boyfriend Rick is 23 and we have been together for almost 6 months now. He is addicted to alcohol, percription pain killers, and he does coke about twice a year. Friday night I went to his house for the night and he was on coke. He opend up and talked to me about things I never thought he could, he told me how his parents died and things about his past that I wont lie, scared the hell out of me. I love this man with all of my heart, he needs help! He told me he wanted to go to treatment but he is scared of being gone and the money it will take to go. I am scared of him leaving for treatment aswell, my father missed most of my life and spent most of my college fund on his own treatment and it never seemed to work. I know I cant change my boyfriend if he doesnt want to be helped but I truly believe he wants to clean up. Is there any advice you can give me so I can help him?
