You are correct that suboxone is addicting but your grandson's physical symptoms are on the extreme end. I don't know if the mother was on an extremely high dose or if she added something else to her body. I am in no way diminishing what has occured to your grandson, however, it is a little extreme. Most babaies experience nothing or mild symptoms. Consider the alternative - mothers on the street using heroin or other drugs; possiblly contracting diseases through IV use. Suboxone is far better than being on the street. It also causes no physical damage to the body or brain. Addiction doesn't stop when you're pregnant.
