Hell yes, hell yes. I finally saved up enough money to go on methadone. ($150 to start, $14 a day) I called up the clinic in tears, told them my story, begging to come in. Well no sympathy for me, I was put on a 3 month waiting list that wasn't even moving, and was recomended by the docs there, that I should "medicate myself" until I could get in. Well after months went by, I called the clinic to see if anyone canceled and I finally got in. And oh yes, they just want to keep you as their little junkie. They kept putting me up, and up. I want to go down, I want to get off this s#$%t. They recomended that this was not a good idea, I would go into withdrawls and die. Well I finally found a doc that gave a damm, he opened up his own clinic for suboxone, AND COUNSELING. They go hand in hand. I'm 13 days clean w/ suboxone, and I have a treatment plan. The suboxone has an opiate blocker so I can't get high on anything else. ( I didn't get high on suboxone, like meth) SO, yes methodone sucks, they take advantage of you because they know you are at rock bottom and will do anything for help. I support any effort you make in educating people about this horrible program. Sangee
