Methadone isn't for everyone and some, maybe most, clinics can be a real nightmare. But there are good clinics out there and it does help some people. There isn't any one way that's best for eveyone. Most people fail the clinic because of the rigid rules and the daily grind. Methadone in pill form is different from liquid and it works different as well. Methadone pills should be made available and you shouldn't have to go to a clinic everyday to get treatment. Can you imagine any other disease being treated like this? There would be an outrage in the community if others were treated like addicts are treated.
