I have been on suboxone for almost two months. I had been on methadone for 4 years before i started treatment. I wasnt in withdrawl too bad when i started taking suboxone,just one day w/o methadone when i found a doc that would see my that afternoon. He prescribed me subutex(without opiate blocker) at first for two weeks.(which was really expensive) Then he switched it to subuxone.(with opiate blocker AND ALOT cheaper!) I'm on my 2nd moth without methadone and i feel like a king! I never once felt ANY withdrawl symptoms which is GREAT! I was so affraid of not having methadone,that just the thought of it made my legs hurt! No joke, i STRONGLY suggest suboxone to anyone using opiates or methadone!!!!! Trust me, it works!
