I recently found out that my sister is addicted to heroin.
She came to my home to try and get off it but ended up 'running away' and is now living in a shelter.
While she was here, she said she wanted to get off it, she is married and has five children, but refused to enter a drug treatment facility or even go to a NA meeting with us.
She is now in a shelter with her kids (youngest 17 months) refusing to give them to their dad.
I need to know in your best estimate what the future holds? does she want off this drug? how bad will it get? I know she is getting the stuff free from her dealer and is sleeping with him, actually having feelings for him.
We are all desperatly worried. Any help would be appreciated.
