You are arrogant beyond belief. I sincerely feel sorry for anyone who might come to you for help. You may be 59 years old but you don't know what you're writing about when it comes to addiction. Age has nothing to do with maturity. And you are absolutely wrong about parents being responsible for their children's addiction. AND... many doctors prescribe narcotics without thinking about their effect on the patient. Please, don't preach to us. You need to educate yourself about alcohol and substance abuse. Many people use drugs to self medicate for underlying mental disorders that go undiagnosed. Many people don't seek medical treatment for mental health issues due to the stigma. You are insulting. I hope you don't mean to be, but you are.
