As the author of the information quoted in the message above, I am gratified that my little article on buprenorphine and the benefits it can bring to those who thought their opioid addiction had brought them to a hopeless place in life is being spread around the Web.
I am a former neuropharmacologist and have been addicted to essentially every opioid that exists, and can personally attest to the tremendous and unique value of buprenorphine in treating addiction. I would only ask that, if my writing is copied to other spots on the net, its origins with the Eaton T. Fores Research Center (www.etfrc.com) be acknowledged.
The ETFRC is a labor of love, not a money-making operation, and I personally keep myself going with the knowledge that someone out there is finding my work helpful, or at least interesting.
Additionally, for those who would like to understand the science of neuro- and psychopharmacology in more detail, the site is filled with my attempt to convey compex science in a understandable way. A variety of things from philosophy to art are also discussed. And all this from a wretched, bottom of the barrell, scum-of-the-earth junkie!
Anyone can be an addict. And addicts are some of the smartest and kindest people on earth.
To anyone who found my article on buprenorphine helpful or even just interesting, my deepest thanks. You are the reason I work.
