I haven't been on buprenorphine myself, but I know people who have, and it does work. If you need this medication to keep you from using then it's OK. Addiction is a really tough thing to overcome and if you can find something that helps, then go for it. Take the meds and get on with your life. Don't listen to other people talk about exchanging one addiction for another and all that crap. You do what you need to do. You'll make it!
